It’s well known that modern cars have multiple data storage systems. There are various types of modules that manage mileage data. Some only remove the mileage from the speedometer, while others erase it from all control units. However, Audi models that have a DSG Gearbox record individually. No matter which module is used, these cars still store mileage information in the transmission.

WHAT MAKES THE AUDI GEARBOX OBD EMULATOR A MUST-HAVE TOOL?

In case you adjust the mileage in the virtual cockpit in the Audi models, the actual mileage data can still remain in the transmission. Diagnostic testers such as VCDS, Gutmann, Autel, Launch, and Odis can find it easily.

If you want to make sure that diagnostic testers display the same mileage as it is on the odometer you will need a Can emulator. The Can Emulator for the Gearbox is an essential tool that makes sure that OBD scanners will display the same mileage as shown on the odometer.
