If the speed in your vehicle does not work properly, a calibration is necessary.
To start the calibration press the return key 10 times when the module is on. Ideal for calibration is a speed of 60KM/h or 60MP/h. After that, you can adjust the speed with the arrow up and down keys. (Please press the buttons in larger intervals & observe whether the speed changes during the ride on the speedometer). If the speed is set correctly, please press the OK button until an acknowledgment appears (speedometer needle drops to 0KM/h or the vehicle beeps 1x briefly).
Finally, press the Return key 12 times to exit the calibration mode.
Mercedes AMG GT 190 Kilometer Stopper tool always maintains the last applied settings. Hence, you don’t have to change the settings before starting a car next time.
The device can be activated or deactivated, either while in motion or when stationary.
It is recommended that you purchase the Openport 2.0 together with a Mercedes Kilometer Filter. After the purchase, you should contact our support team to finalize the installation. The support team will provide the login token for the MB Tools software free of charge (the offer is only valid for those who have already bought the Openport 2.0 in our shop). You can use it to make one of the following adjustments:
Speedometer programming:
customize your speedometer, reset it (Virginize) and activate the AMG menu (only possible with certain speedometers).
Carplay activation:
Activate Carplay with just a few clicks (only possible with suitable hardware).
