For the mode that alters the mileage entirely, we allow a deviation of up to 1% of the driven distance. Provided details about stopped mileage are only approximations, and there might be such minor differences.

ACTIVATION & DEACTIVATION

Change modes via smartphone app or press and hold the Return button ↩️ for approx. 10 seconds.

The mode is confirmed by sounding the “warning signal”. (Mode 1 is always active during installation)
Example: 1x warning signal = mode 1, 4x warning signal = mode 4

Repeat the process to switch from mode to mode.

Mode 1
The mileage counter is stopped 100%

The speed indicator doesn't work

Mode 2
10% of the driven mileage are counted and 1/10 of the actual speed is shown on the speedometer.

EXAMPLE: You drive 60mph and the speedo will show 6mph

Mode 3
The mileage is halved (50%) and the speedometer also shows 50% of the actual speed.

Example: You drive 100 mph on the speedometer 50 mph are displayed

Mode 4
The mileage counter is stopped 100%

The speed indicator works

Mode 5
Odometer counts 100% of the mileage

Hint for Mode 4: If the device shows a wrong speed, you have the option of adjusting the speed indicator so that everything is displayed correctly. For this you have to press the return button 10 times quickly and wait for a beep from the speedometer. Then you can use the up arrow and the down arrow on the left side of the steering wheel to move the speed indicator up and down. When you have set the speed display, press the OK button until you hear a beep from the speedometer. To get out of this speed adjustment mode you have to press the return button 12 times and wait until a beep appears. After Ignition OFF/ON speed adjustment Saves the speed calibration and also the last mode.

The speed calibration usually only has to be carried out once and then the correct speed is permanently displayed in mode 4.

Mercedes SLK, SLC R172, Kilometer Stopper tool always maintains the last applied settings. Hence, you don’t have to change the settings before starting a car next time.

The device can be activated or deactivated, either while in motion or when stationary.
